Worked on stabilizing the 5GHz DFS enablement path in the rdkcentral/rdk-wifi-hal repository, focusing on embedded systems and Wi-Fi driver development using C. Addressed a core reliability issue by introducing validation of the radio index and parameters before enabling DFS through the wifi_setRadioDfsEnable function. This approach prevented outages on the 5GHz band when DFS was active, directly improving Wi-Fi availability in DFS-enabled environments. The solution included adding platform_set_dfs validation logic, which strengthened the enablement process. All changes were linked to the relevant ticket and commit, enhancing code traceability and supporting future quality assurance and audit efforts.
