Worked on stabilizing the Export Schema workflow in the yugabyte/yb-voyager repository, focusing on backend development and testing using Go. Addressed a bug in the migration assessment logic to ensure that when the --start-clean flag is used, the internal migration assessment re-runs correctly. Introduced a utility function to clear the migration assessment status, which prevents unnecessary re-runs when the assessment has already completed. This approach improved the reliability and predictability of migration outcomes by reducing redundant operations and optimizing resource usage. The work emphasized correctness and efficiency in the export schema feature, enhancing the overall migration feedback loop.
