Worked on the openshift/release repository to enhance VM snapshot test reporting and streamline CI processes. Developed automated generation of JUnit XML reports for VM snapshot tests using Bash and YAML, improving test visibility and traceability. Migrated CNV build steps to an external CI image, leveraging containerization to simplify builds and increase reproducibility. Introduced configurable test suite and case naming through environment variables, and implemented a 60-second grace period to ensure reliable report generation before pod termination. Updated Prow job configurations and image streams, resulting in reduced flaky CI runs and more efficient, maintainable build and testing pipelines.
