Krzysztof upgraded the default vLLM OpenAI image to version v0.10.2 within the castai-hosted-model Helm chart in the castai/helm-charts repository. This work involved updating YAML configuration files, including Chart.lock and Chart.yaml, as well as the values and README documentation to ensure deployment reproducibility and clear traceability of changes. Leveraging skills in DevOps, Helm, and Kubernetes, Krzysztof aligned the hosted model deployments with the latest model capabilities and prepared the infrastructure for potential performance improvements. The scope of work was focused and well-documented, reflecting a methodical approach to maintaining and enhancing the reliability of the deployment pipeline.
