Worked on upgrading the default vLLM OpenAI image to version v0.10.2 within the castai-hosted-model Helm chart in the castai/helm-charts repository. This involved updating YAML configuration files, including Chart.lock and Chart.yaml, as well as revising values and documentation to ensure deployment reproducibility and clear traceability of changes. The upgrade aligned hosted model deployments with the latest model capabilities and prepared the infrastructure for potential performance improvements. Leveraged DevOps practices and Kubernetes expertise to maintain consistency across environments, focusing on transparent documentation and explicit commit references to support maintainable, reliable, and up-to-date Helm chart deployments.
