Worked on the Dynatrace/opentelemetry-demo-gitops repository to establish a maintainable GitOps foundation for the AstroShop deployment. Developed and initialized a Helm wrapper chart, organizing deployment files and introducing default OpenTelemetry Collector values to streamline observability setup. Implemented a Bash-driven post-renderer that injects ownership labels into Kubernetes resources, enhancing traceability and supporting robust RBAC practices. Manual deployment artifacts were relocated into a dedicated folder, improving repository structure and automation readiness. The work focused on scalable, auditable configuration management across environments, leveraging skills in DevOps, Kubernetes, and YAML to deliver a clear, maintainable deployment process for future development.
