Worked on the influxdata/official-images repository to align Docker image tags with the latest Elastic Stack patch releases, specifically updating Elasticsearch to 9.0.4, Kibana to 8.18.4, and Logstash to 8.17.9. Utilized Dockerfile and containerization skills to update image tags and commit references, ensuring that deployments consistently use patched and secure versions. This approach reduced version drift and improved the security posture of downstream deployments. The work also enhanced image management by documenting patch-level changes in a single, auditable update, streamlining maintenance and traceability for teams relying on these official Docker images in production environments.
