During August 2025, Kyle Skinner focused on repository hygiene for the boostorg/website-v2 project by updating the .gitignore file to exclude log artifacts and a generated script from version control. This work, leveraging skills in version control and Git Ignore syntax, aimed to reduce unnecessary files in commits and prevent accidental deployments of non-essential artifacts. By targeting files such as test-logs.txt, smoke-logs.txt, and extract_links.py.py, Kyle improved the stability and cleanliness of the repository. Although no customer-facing features or bug fixes were delivered, this maintenance enhanced CI reliability and streamlined code review, reflecting a thoughtful approach to project upkeep.
