Developed a JSON-based DNS configuration and owner data schema enhancement for the is-a-dev/register repository, focusing on improving domain provisioning and management. Leveraging skills in DNS configuration, configuration management, and data structure design, the work introduced a centralized kter.json file to streamline domain configuration and enable faster, safer DNS updates without requiring code deployments. The schema was iteratively refined through multiple commits, adding an owner email field to facilitate better ownership tracking and future user notifications. By embedding configuration in JSON, the solution reduced operational overhead and improved observability, supporting more controlled changes and enhanced communication with domain owners.
