Developed and delivered an automated host-firewall validation suite for the openshift-kni/eco-gotests repository, focusing on comprehensive system testing within Kubernetes environments. Leveraged the Ginkgo testing framework and Go to implement ordered test specifications that validate firewall rules, TCP connectivity, and kernel journal logging. Enhanced the test infrastructure by creating workflows for applying and reverting MachineConfigs, managing topology resolution, and orchestrating network probes. Improvements included migrating OC calls to a shared infrastructure repository, refining address parsing, and introducing linting for maintainability. Expanded documentation and standardized artifact outputs contributed to better observability, auditing, and compliance across automated firewall validation scenarios.
