During June 2025, Kuihong Xin developed daily build support for the RSB3730A2 target in the ADVANTECH-Corp/build_scripts repository, focusing on automation and reliability within the Yocto 5.0 build system. By leveraging shell scripting and build systems expertise, Kuihong introduced conditional logic to trigger the correct build script for targeted hardware validation and enforced fail-on-error behavior to halt problematic builds automatically. This approach expanded the CI pipeline’s coverage, reduced manual intervention, and accelerated validation cycles for the RSB3730A2 platform. The work demonstrated a focused application of shell scripting and build automation to streamline processes and improve feedback within the development workflow.
