Developed and released a GitHub Copilot usage tracking package for the vedantmgoyal9/winget-pkgs repository, focusing on CLI development, localization, and package management using Rust and YAML. The work included building installation flows and localization files to support global deployment, as well as implementing telemetry for Copilot usage to inform cost optimization and governance. Subsequent updates enhanced installer UX and expanded locale support, reducing friction for international users. Usage reporting capabilities were added to enable data-driven improvements in localization and user experience. All releases were versioned with clear documentation, supporting adoption and downstream analytics across multiple milestones without bug fixes.
