He implemented per-deployment DNS policy and DNSConfig support using Helm templating and YAML, introducing conditional logic in templates and updating values.yaml to allow granular DNS control for Kubernetes pods. The work included a refactor of DNS configuration handling to improve code readability and maintainability, as well as a release-style upgrade from chart version 0.13.0 to 0.14.0.
