Worked on the mozilla-mobile/firefox-ios repository to enhance the FindInPage feature by refactoring its delegation structure. Focused on removing unnecessary delegate parameters from FindInPageBar and FindInPageHelper, this effort clarified delegation interactions and reduced the risk of maintenance issues. The approach relied on targeted static analysis and addressed periphery warnings related to FXIOS-15237, aligning with repository standards. Utilizing Swift and Objective-C for iOS development, the work improved code clarity and maintainability, making future enhancements safer and onboarding easier for contributors. This initiative lowered the bug surface and reduced long-term maintenance costs for the FindInPage functionality within the project.
