Developed a daily volume data adapter for Shido DEX within the DefiLlama/dimension-adapters repository, focusing on accurate and reliable trading volume analytics. The solution integrated a GraphQL subgraph using TypeScript, implementing robust error handling and timeout-aware fetch logic to ensure data integrity and prevent silent failures. By aligning GraphQL variable types with the subgraph schema and maintaining a day-aligned UTC start, the adapter preserved historical accuracy for downstream reporting. The work included updating request syntax to support AbortSignal for timeouts and refining error reporting, resulting in improved stability and reliability for full stack data processing in DeFi analytics workflows.
