During September 2025, work focused on enhancing the inaturalist/inaturalist repository by implementing routing-level support for printed development materials. This involved adding two HTTP 302 redirects that map the /gifts and /supportersurvey endpoints to external resources, ensuring seamless access for users interacting with printed materials. The routing changes were designed with a minimal footprint, preserving existing user flows and maintaining application performance. Utilizing Ruby on Rails and web development best practices, the implementation addressed a specific integration need without introducing regressions or impacting stability. No bugs were reported or fixed during this period, reflecting a targeted and contained engineering effort.
