During June 2026, contributed to the apache/texera repository by developing a comprehensive test suite for the ImageUtility.encodeImageToHTML function. This work focused on enhancing the reliability and maintainability of the image rendering path by verifying deterministic Python snippet generation, robust error handling, and correct formatting of outputs as data-URI img tags. The approach centered on expanding unit test coverage without modifying production code, ensuring that future changes to image rendering remain stable and predictable. Leveraging skills in Python, Scala, and unit testing, the effort improved release readiness and strengthened the overall quality assurance process for Texera’s image utilities.
