During February 2025, Kyle worked on the openedx/frontend-app-learning repository, focusing on frontend development with JavaScript. He addressed a critical navigation issue by implementing a profile link redirect fix, updating the configuration constant to generate profile links that route users to the new Micro Frontend (MFE) URL. This change ensured that, following the removal of legacy account pages, users were consistently directed to the correct profile page, reducing broken link exposure and confusion. Kyle validated the solution end-to-end, confirming seamless navigation across MFEs. His work demonstrated attention to detail in maintaining user experience during the platform’s ongoing MFE transition.
