Over a two-month period, contributed to the DIYgod/RSSHub repository by developing and refining backend features using TypeScript, with a focus on API development and web scraping. Built a new API route for ElAmigos game releases, enabling configurable data limits and improving extraction logic to enhance data coverage and reliability for end users. Addressed security and code quality by removing hardcoded limits and implementing user-defined parameters. Later, improved the robustness of publication date extraction by updating regex patterns to adapt to changes in HTML structure, ensuring accurate and maintainable data parsing. Demonstrated strong skills in backend development and regex tuning.
