Worked on backend robustness for NVIDIA/garak and confident-ai/deepeval, focusing on improving error handling and data integrity in Python. Addressed issues with JSON payload processing by ensuring invalid payloads are gracefully skipped in garak, preventing crashes and maintaining system stability. Enhanced the trimAndLoadJson function in deepeval to apply trailing comma cleanup only when necessary, preserving valid JSON while still handling malformed input. Added regression tests across both repositories to verify stability and guard against future parsing regressions. Demonstrated strong skills in JSON handling, data processing, and unit testing, contributing to more resilient and maintainable backend systems.
