Worked on the Stipax27/Constellations repository to enhance code readability and maintainability in bitmap handling routines using C++ and the Windows API. Focused on clarifying the intended usage of selecting a bitmap into a device context within the ShowBitmap function, this contribution involved adding detailed inline documentation without altering existing functionality. The approach prioritized reducing future ambiguity and supporting safer refactoring by making the code’s intent explicit. By adhering to a disciplined Git workflow and providing clear documentation, the work aimed to facilitate onboarding for new contributors and streamline future feature development, while maintaining alignment with established quality standards for the project.
