Worked on a major frontend refactor for the openedx/frontend-app-learner-record repository, focusing on unifying the display of Verifiable Credentials within the learner records application. Leveraging React, JavaScript, and SCSS, the developer consolidated program and course certificate views into a single, streamlined interface. This was achieved by renaming components and services to use generic terminology, which simplifies ongoing maintenance and supports easier extension to new credential types. The refactor reduced navigation friction for learners and established a scalable foundation for future credential support, ensuring that additional types can be integrated with minimal frontend changes and consistent user experience.
