During November 2024, lab@labinfo.is.escuelaing.edu.co delivered a comprehensive user interface overhaul for the oscardospinar/library-ui repository, focusing on navigation, loan management, and book search workflows. The work involved refactoring key components using React and Material-UI, with an emphasis on modularity and maintainability. A new book search component was introduced, enabling type-based filtering to streamline user interactions and improve search precision. CSS and TypeScript were used to enhance visual consistency and usability across the application. While no bugs were addressed, the depth of the feature work improved user productivity and laid a scalable foundation for future frontend development.
