During January 2026, contributed to the GoogleCloudPlatform/cloud-foundation-fabric repository by developing a feature that introduced locality load balancing policies to the regional external application load balancer. This work enhanced session persistence and routing accuracy by implementing cookie-based session affinity validation, allowing for more precise regional traffic management. The technical approach centered on Infrastructure as Code principles using Terraform, with updates made to both the module and its documentation to reflect the new capabilities. The changes provided users with improved control over load balancing behavior in cloud environments, leveraging skills in cloud computing and Terraform to deliver robust infrastructure enhancements.
