Worked on enhancing French localization for the wavelog/wavelog repository by updating all UI string translations within the messages.po file. Focused on refining translation accuracy, adjusting translator metadata, and revising dates to improve traceability and maintainability. Leveraged Weblate to establish a streamlined localization workflow, enabling easier future updates and reducing localization debt. Applied internationalization and localization best practices to ensure higher accessibility and a more consistent user experience for French-speaking users. The technical approach centered on PO file management and workflow automation, resulting in improved translation quality and better integration of ongoing localization efforts within the codebase. No bugs were addressed.
