In January 2025, Gabriel enhanced the data-hydenv/data repository by developing granular temperature time-series ingestion pipelines, supporting both 10-minute and hourly intervals using CSV data sources. Leveraging data engineering and data management skills, Gabriel implemented ingestion processes that incorporated origin metadata, enabling more detailed analytics and trend analysis across datasets from late 2024. To improve data hygiene and governance, Gabriel reorganized storage by renaming and removing legacy files, consolidating ingestion pipelines, and cleaning dataset namespaces. This work reduced storage confusion and streamlined onboarding for downstream analytics, demonstrating a thoughtful approach to data ingestion, file management, and overall data readiness within the project.
January 2025 monthly summary for data-hydenv/data: Delivered higher-resolution temperature time-series ingestion and improved data hygiene, enabling richer analytics and reducing storage confusion.
