Contributed to the NickvisionApps/Parabolic project by delivering two targeted features focused on codebase modernization and user interface refinement. Led the migration of the DOAP project language from C# to C++, establishing a more maintainable and performant foundation for future development. Enhanced the GTK-based UI by refining the Video Format combobox, removing unnecessary ellipses for a cleaner and more consistent user experience aligned with GNOME design guidelines. These efforts reduced technical debt and improved the project’s readiness for further refactoring. Work demonstrated proficiency in C++, GTK, and UI development, with an emphasis on maintainability and user-centric design improvements.
