During May 2026, contributed an automation-focused enhancement to the wikipathways/wikipathways-database repository by updating the GitHub Actions workflow for GPML pathway management. The work centered on extending the workflow to accept additional input parameters for GPML file changes, leveraging YAML and DevOps practices to improve automation and reproducibility. By addressing issue #76 through workflow_dispatch improvements, the update reduced manual intervention and streamlined the process of managing pathway updates. This approach strengthened CI/CD practices within the repository, resulting in more maintainable and parameterized workflows that support consistent and efficient updates to GPML files across multiple pathways.
