During June 2025, Lasse Jacobsen developed secure authentication and session management for the Event Management page in the efdevcon/monorepo repository. He implemented OAuth-based user authentication, refactoring agent initialization and API calls to ensure all event creation and management actions operated within an authenticated session. This work included updating dependencies for @atproto/api to support the new authentication flow. Using TypeScript and JavaScript, Lasse focused on API integration and frontend development to improve the security posture of the application. His contributions laid the foundation for scalable authorization across community features, addressing both immediate security needs and future extensibility requirements.
