Worked on the neos/neos-ui repository to improve editor consistency by addressing a formatting limitation in the CKEditor Heading Plugin. Delivered a targeted bugfix that extended heading formatting capabilities beyond standard heading tags to include paragraph, preformatted text, and blockquote elements. This adjustment ensured that content authors could apply consistent heading styles across the most common block types, reducing the need for manual formatting. The solution was implemented using JavaScript and front-end development skills, with a focus on maintainable code and clear commit documentation. The work enhanced the editing experience while supporting long-term maintainability and traceability within the codebase.
