Laurens focused on UI and UX refinements for the Luminary platform, updating the language management interface to use sentence case for improved consistency and clarity. Working within the bccsa/luminary repository, Laurens replaced the sidebar’s LanguageIcon with GlobeEuropeAfricaIcon to better represent the platform’s global language capabilities. The work was implemented using Vue.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript, emphasizing modular component development to support future multilingual expansion. These changes enhanced branding alignment and reduced confusion for content editors, laying a foundation for broader language support. The scope of work was targeted and well-structured, addressing both usability and scalability within a short timeframe.
