Lauro Gripa contributed to novasamatech/nova-utils by modernizing UI asset management, focusing on the DotYappers icon update. He replaced the legacy PNG icon with a new SVG asset in the dapps directory, updated the relevant icon URL references, and removed deprecated formats to streamline asset handling. This work leveraged skills in asset management and proficiency with SVG, ensuring improved visual fidelity and consistency across decentralized applications. Although the scope was limited to a single feature over one month, Lauro’s changes addressed technical debt by aligning assets with current design-system standards and simplifying future maintenance within the repository’s asset pipeline.
