During March 2025, Lauro Gripa contributed to novasamatech/nova-utils by modernizing UI assets to align with the project’s design system. He implemented a new DotYappers icon using SVG, replacing the previous PNG asset in the dapps directory and updating the associated icon URL. This update improved visual fidelity across decentralized applications and streamlined asset management by reducing reliance on deprecated image formats. Lauro’s work focused on asset management and SVG, ensuring consistency and maintainability within the codebase. The scope of work was targeted, delivering a single feature update that addressed design alignment without introducing bug fixes or broader architectural changes.
