Lavin upgraded the Policy Management API from version 1 to version 2 for the CircleCI-Public/circleci-cli repository, aligning the CLI’s endpoints with CircleCI’s public API. This work focused on enhancing interoperability and reducing integration costs for external users by updating endpoints to use the official circleci.com API. Lavin utilized Go for backend development and incorporated robust testing practices to ensure reliability and maintainability. The upgrade lays a foundation for future API enhancements and streamlines integration workflows for customers. Over the course of the month, Lavin concentrated on feature development, delivering a targeted solution that improves compatibility without introducing new bugs.
