Worked on the SAP/SapMachine repository to improve the reliability of UI testing by addressing a persistent issue in the GlyphView component. Focused on debugging and regression testing, the developer identified a mismatch in the expected test string and updated it to accurately reflect the intended functionality, ensuring that the test now checks for the correct output, "the quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog!" This targeted fix, implemented in Java and involving Java Swing, reduced flaky test failures and improved the clarity of test intent. The work enhanced continuous integration stability and contributed to more robust automated testing coverage.
