Worked on enhancing cloud security checks within the projectdiscovery/nuclei-templates repository by delivering improvements to GCloud Security Matchers. Focused on refining matcher logic in YAML configurations to better prevent public access and accurately detect default VPC usage, the work reduced false positives and negatives in gcloud-related security scans. The approach involved detailed YAML parsing and configuration-based checks, resulting in more reliable and precise detection for cloud deployments. Demonstrated skills in Cloud Security, GCP, and Security Auditing, the contributions improved maintainability and coverage of YAML-based security checks, stabilizing the scanning process and increasing confidence in automated cloud security assessments.
