Worked on the cline/cline repository to enhance reliability and efficiency in customer-facing messaging flows by focusing on SAP AI Core integration. Addressed rate limit challenges by implementing a retry decorator for the createMessage method, ensuring failed requests due to rate limits are automatically retried. Improved API error handling by refining logic for error 400 responses, conditioning the inclusion of reasoning details on their availability and omitting empty payloads to reduce unnecessary API calls. Utilized TypeScript for backend development, emphasizing robust API integration and error handling. The work delivered targeted improvements that increased service stability and throughput under constrained conditions.
