Leon worked on the KlubJagiellonski/pola-backend repository, delivering a feature that enhanced localization for Polish-speaking users by configuring GitHub Copilot prompts to default to Polish. He implemented a new YAML-based configuration file, leveraging his skills in AI configuration and GitHub Actions to ensure that Copilot’s AI assistant interactions consistently responded in Polish. Access to this configuration was restricted to maintainers, reducing the risk of misconfiguration and supporting governance. This targeted approach aligned with the project’s localization strategy, improving the back-end’s readiness for Polish users and supporting business objectives to increase engagement in the Polish market. The work was focused and well-scoped.
