Developed device type support for the Lenovo ThinkCentre M70q Gen 5 Tiny within the netbox-community/devicetype-library repository, expanding the hardware catalog for automated provisioning and inventory management. The work involved authoring a dedicated YAML specification, creating the ThinkCentre-M70q-Gen-5-Tiny.yaml file, and standardizing naming conventions to ensure consistency and traceability. Leveraging skills in YAML configuration and device type management, the developer enabled more accurate asset tracking and streamlined onboarding for this hardware family. Git-based version control practices were used to link changes to specific commits and pull requests, supporting future automation and maintainability for device monitoring and lifecycle operations.
