During April 2026, Yeachan Heo enhanced the Yeachan-Heo/oh-my-codex repository by implementing legacy skill roots deduplication and shared canonical roots, addressing the challenge of fragmented skill directories. He approached the problem by treating linked legacy skill directories as unified canonical roots, which improved cross-directory skill integration and system efficiency. Using Node.js and TypeScript within a full stack development context, Yeachan updated the skill management flow to ensure backward compatibility and clarified canonical root handling. This work improved the consistency of the skill graph, streamlined data hygiene, and enabled more accurate analytics, reflecting a focused and well-scoped engineering contribution.
