Worked on enhancing documentation for the elastic/elasticsearch-labs and elastic/docs repositories, focusing on improving onboarding and developer experience. In elastic/elasticsearch-labs, added detailed guidance for connecting to self-managed Elasticsearch clusters within the app-search-engine-exporter notebook, clarifying deployment options for users outside Elastic Cloud. For elastic/docs, updated the README to clearly state the repository’s purpose and provided a direct link for building markdown documentation for version 9.0 and above, streamlining the contributor workflow. All changes were implemented using Markdown and asciidoc, emphasizing clarity and usability. The work addressed documentation gaps but did not involve bug fixes or codebase changes.
