Worked on stabilizing YAML-driven configuration parsing for the ConductorOne/baton-sdk repository, focusing on backend development and testing using Go. Addressed a complex bug in the VisitFlags function by implementing type-appropriate getters to correctly parse StringSlice and StringMap values from YAML, preventing value corruption and shadowing caused by pflag and viper precedence. Expanded test coverage to include various flag types, YAML arrays, inline syntax, and edge cases such as empty collections and unset flags. Updated tests to enforce secure file permissions in line with gosec guidelines, resulting in more reliable configuration handling across multiple connectors and reducing runtime support issues.
