David Leet developed and delivered the blk theme for the zed-industries/extensions repository, focusing on expanding user customization options through a modular approach. He implemented the theme as a dedicated Git submodule, updating configuration files in TOML to support seamless integration and future scalability. This work enhanced the front end by enabling flexible theming, laying the foundation for a more extensible architecture. By co-authoring the feature, David aligned the visual consistency of the product with broader strategy goals. Over the month, his contributions centered on theme development and Git submodules, with no major bugs reported or fixed during this period.
