Worked on the OHIF/Viewers repository to address routing stability and deployment reliability by implementing a targeted bug fix in the routerBasename initialization. Leveraged the publicUrl utility within appInit.js to standardize the basename configuration, ensuring consistent routing behavior across development, staging, and production environments. This approach consolidated environment-specific routing logic, reducing the need for manual adjustments during deployments and minimizing routing incidents. The work focused on enhancing multi-environment support and improving overall code maintainability. Utilized front end development skills with a focus on JavaScript and React, delivering a well-documented solution that improved deployment reliability without introducing new features.
