Worked on reliability improvements for cron-driven LLM tasks in the moltbot/moltbot repository, focusing on backend development with TypeScript and testing. Addressed a critical issue in the LLM idle watchdog by ensuring explicit per-run timeouts were properly propagated and respected, even when matching default values. This fix prevented the watchdog from reverting to default timeouts, thereby reducing failures in scheduled agent runs triggered by cron jobs. The solution was merged after thorough code review, resulting in more predictable and reliable agent scheduling. The work contributed to improved adherence to service level agreements by enhancing the robustness of automated task execution.
