During October 2025, Lelis developed an automated pull request gating system for the fossguild/naja repository, focusing on branch governance and release stability. Leveraging GitHub Actions and YAML, Lelis implemented a workflow that enforces all pull requests into the main branch to originate exclusively from the dev branch. This approach reduces the risk of destabilizing changes reaching production and standardizes the integration process for future development. The work established a foundational CI/CD gating mechanism, supporting safer and more predictable releases. While the project scope was limited to a single feature, the solution demonstrated depth in workflow automation and process control.
