Worked on the vtex/faststore repository to enhance form usability by addressing a UI issue in the TextareaField component. Focused on frontend development using JavaScript, TypeScript, and SCSS, the developer resolved a bug where the floating label overlapped content during scroll by adding a background color to the label, improving readability and visual consistency. Additionally, comprehensive Storybook documentation was created to showcase multiple TextareaField configurations, supporting better discoverability and onboarding for other developers. The work emphasized component development and CSS techniques, resulting in reduced user confusion and a smoother developer experience without introducing new features during the period.
