Worked on the gdsfactory/gdsfactory repository to enhance the clarity and professionalism of contributor documentation. Focused on content editing and documentation, the developer refined the punctuation and structure of the contribution guidelines using Markdown, ensuring that instructions for new contributors were easier to follow and more consistent. This work aimed to improve the overall contributor experience by reducing ambiguity and making onboarding smoother. No bugs were addressed during this period, as the primary emphasis was on documentation quality rather than code changes.
