Worked on improving the robustness of the mesh deformation example in the DLR-AMR/t8code repository by focusing on error handling and logging enhancements. Addressed a specific bug by refining the main function’s conditional logic for parsed dimensions, which reduced the risk of runtime errors and improved workflow reliability. Upgraded the logging system to provide clearer, more actionable messages, making debugging and issue triage more efficient. Utilized C++ for development, applying skills in algorithm design and error handling to deliver targeted improvements. The work resulted in a more dependable mesh deformation process and streamlined production support for related computational workflows.
