Worked on the RocketPy-Team/RocketPy repository to enhance both reliability and developer experience within a one-month period. Addressed a critical bug in Python by correcting the rail button force calculation for Flight objects lacking rail buttons, ensuring accurate simulation results and adding regression tests to prevent future issues. Improved build automation by updating the Makefile so that test dependencies from requirements-tests.txt are installed automatically during setup, streamlining onboarding and continuous integration processes. Focused on bug fixing, documentation, and unit testing, these contributions strengthened code quality and operational efficiency, leveraging Makefile and Python to support a more robust development workflow.
