Worked on the apache/trafficserver repository to enhance code quality by focusing on internal code cleanup and refactoring. The primary contribution involved removing an unused static variable from InkAPI.cc, which reduced dead code and improved the maintainability of the C++ codebase. No user-facing features were introduced, but the changes stabilized internal APIs, making future development and maintenance more straightforward. Leveraged C++ and Git workflows to align with established code review processes and repository standards. This work demonstrated a methodical approach to code health, ensuring the codebase remains clean and easier to extend without introducing unnecessary complexity or risk.
